Trinity  (Founder/Teacher)

Trinity is the founder and lead teacher at Twin Lotus Yoga, with over two decades of personal practice and years of teaching experience. Her approach to yoga is rooted in mindfulness, alignment, and breath awareness, offering students a grounded and welcoming space to explore the transformative power of yoga.

Her classes emphasize strength, presence, and compassion—inviting students to move mindfully and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. For her, yoga is more than a physical practice—it’s a way of being. Each class is an invitation to return home to the body, quiet the mind, and nurture the spirit.

In addition to teaching yoga, she is a certified sound practitioner who integrates meditation and sound healing into her offerings. Using crystal singing bowls and gongs, she helps students reset the nervous system and access deep states of restoration and ease.

Outside the studio, she lives on a small farm where she enjoys time with her goats and chickens, gardening, walking her dog, and playing competitive volleyball. Inspired by the profound benefits yoga has brought to her life, she is passionate about sharing its magic with others.

Laura  (Instructor)

Laura took her first yoga class in 1998.  She could not touch her toes at the start of class, nor could she at the end of class but something had caught her attention.  She just felt better.  Calmer. Quieter.  Ten years later, when her 3 girls were all enrolled in school, she enrolled in teacher training at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago.  It was a life changing experience.

After graduating in 2009, she got her first teaching position under her mentor teacher and hasn’t looked back.  Laura believes yoga is accessible to everyone. It is a way to connect with our bodies to make everyday tasks easier and more comfortable. A big part of her practice is taking it off the mat and into the world.  The increased range of motion, physical comfort in our bodies and increased strength come with as bonuses to the mental calm and ability to be present that we practice each and every class.

When not teaching, Laura is a avid lover of the water.  Swimming in the lake in the summer or a pool in the winter, water is her happy place. Twin Lakes is the perfect home for that.

Bridget  (Instructor)

Hi! My name is Bridget. I hold E-RYT credentials with Yoga Alliance. I have been teaching since 2019, when I received my 200 hour certification under Therese Crews. I have since continued my education with Lotus Yoga Centre studying the teachings of the Himalayan tradition.

Yoga is my passion! I began my own practice about twenty years ago. I was into the hippie subculture, metaphysics, spirituality, Eastern philosophy, and the mind-body connection, so yoga found its way to me quite organically. I fell in love with the holistic nature of the practice: the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual.

I generally teach a slow flow vinyasa, appropriate for all levels. The tempo is mellow to moderate, focusing on breath linked movement, proper alignment, and subtle refinements. My playlist is classical Indian, chanting, kirtan, binaural beats and instrumentals. I meet students where they are at, providing a safe comfortable space and compassionate guidance to explore their potential and grow in their practice.

Nicole  (Instructor)

Nicole is a classically trained Pilates instructor whose love of movement began in baby-sized ballet slippers and never stopped evolving. As a former competitive dancer, Nicole’s love for the body led her from the dance studio to the Pilates studio where she works to maintain and further her mobility and alignment.

While going to college in  Colorado, Nicole found herself drawn to hiking, skiing, snowboarding and her favorite: surfing. This path naturally led her to Pilates, where she discovered a grounded yet transformative practice that honored both the stretching and strengthening she needed.

When she’s not teaching or deep in anatomy books, Nicole works as a concert and music journalism photographer. Capturing the energy and artistry of live performance, another favorite form of movement.

You’ll often find her chasing sunshine, waves, and the perfect balance—both in the water and in life. Whether she’s training for her next surf trip or helping clients reconnect to their bodies, Nicole brings a sense of humor, presence, and soul to everything she does.
